In conjunction with The Millard Sheets Art Center, Claremont Graduate University is excited to host the 2017 SoCal MFA Juried Exhibition. This is an annual Exhibition open to all Southern California MFA Studio Art students. This is a show for MFA students, organized by CGU MFA students. This year's coordinators and curators are Laura Myntti, Dakota Noot, and Chelsea Boxwell.

Amanda Ross-Ho was our 2017 guest juror. Living and working in Los Angeles, She is an Assistant Professor of Sculpture at the University of California, Irvine. Her work draws from a broad hierarchy of structures, mapping connectivity within ecologies of personal and universal phenomena and diagramming reflexive relationships between production, presentation, and the social contracts of viewership. Her work has been exhibited widely, both nationally and internationally.

This year, including CGU, 15 MFA programs throughout Southern California have participating students. We are looking forward to this diverse and exciting exhibition.

The show will be up at The Millard Sheets Art Center in Pomona from May 20th - June 10th, 2017.
