9:00am-4:00pm

Ages 10-13

Take your skills to the next level!  Learn studio art techniques and complete portfolio-ready artwork.  

Through various exercises and training methods, students will undergo group and individual instruction geared to develop the basic skills and techniques needed as they begin their drawing and painting journeys.  The day will be split between drawing and painting in order to maximize students' engagement.  The Academy will end with a final exhibition for family and friends (more details to be shared).  All materials and supplies included in registration cost.

Student Handbook

Please ensure that you have thoroughly reviewed the 2019 Student Handbook regarding all important information and policies for the Summer Academies in the Arts.

Waivers and Forms

All participants are required to download, read, print, sign and return the following forms prior to the first day of your Academy (to download, right click and save as):

• University Waiver and Photo Release
• Code of Conduct (page 18 of the Student Handbook)

Failure to do so will result in the student not being allowed to participate in the program until all missing forms are signed and returned. Fees for missed classes will not be refunded.
