The 13th annual DigiFilm Festival features the best work produced in the Digital Filmmaking program. The selection is curated by the DigiFilm faculty and staff. The festival is a showcase for DigiFilm classes and the program, so that means, only work made in a DigiFilm course.

This is our major, end of the year graduation celebration for our community. Please invite all of your friends! If you are inviting family, remember there are often adult themes and content in the festival.

AWARDS: DigiFilm Festival Apple Box Awards will be given out! Official photos of the award winners will be taken immediately following the event.
Award Categories are: Best Narrative, Experimental, Documentary, Directing, Editing, Writing, Cinematography and Golden Apple for service to the program.

STEP 1: SUBMIT THE FORM with STILL IMAGE, instructions below - SUBMISSION FORM DUE TUESDAY, May 31 MIDNIGHT
​STEP 2: DELIVER THE FILM with CREDITS, instructions below - EXHIBITION PRINTS (file) ARE DUE WEDNESDAY, JUNE 1 at 4PM

  • select a captivating still image to represent your film on the website and on social media
  • no title or graphics on the image
  • file name: LastName_FirstName_Movie_Title
  • ​1920x1080
  • 1 version - (RGB, 72 dpi, jpg)

 

Delivery Settings for exhibition print of film:

  • Create your credits following the DigiFilm Credit Sequence Guidelines
    • ​It's considered polite and ethically responsible to acknowledge the professor who's course you made the work in, and or who mentored the project. FUTURE TIP: this also includes after graduation when screening your work originally developed in any academic program. For example, you make a film based on a project developed in Pre Production, you would acknowledge the program and the professor in your credits. The Credit Sequence Guidelines has how we request to handle DigiFilm acknowledgement. A professor would go you in your thank yous or they could get a call out as a mentor.
