The cultural explosion of video has created new career opportunities for students, and has hastened a need for much more in-depth, systematic study of video. Therefore we have greatly revised and expanded our curriculum.

Our new production training provides the equipment and time necessary for students to develop a hands-on understanding of the tools, terminology and workflow of a production crew. Pre-Production & Post-Production courses further enhance organizational and technical skills. History courses focus on the study of important experimental film and video art works that are understood as critical to the development of video making.  A range of Intermediate & Advanced Projects courses challenge students to combine critical thinking with practical skills through the creation of original new works.

With the implementation of our new curriculum, we present a new model of what it means to be a working video artist and experimental filmmaker, and the skills necessary to seriously engage in the study of this form. We believe this significantly improves the quality of the education we offer and the quality of the students we produce.
