About the show:
"With the original we necessarily mean something that has been around since the beginning, a kind of default setting that precluded the tampering and manipulations of something or someone. The cultural landscape is the hairdo of landscape, representing the combined work of nature and man, and is thus not at all original and clearly not a default setting from nature’s perspective, although it might be pretty. The original cultural landscape appears then as an ambiguous term – both a caramel that I've suckled on during the compilation of the exhibition, and a perspective on the wide relativization which the artists' individual projects offer. Odor Water Limo relates peripherally to established cultural institutions, while simultaneously clearly stating which alternative foundations an exhibition of professional art might be built upon. The exhibition Odor Water Limo discusses the cultural landscape through economic, historic, romantic, scientific, and unnatural attacks."

A bilingual catalogue accompanies the exhibition with presentations of the artists as well as texts by Bjørn Hatterud and Robert T. Carroll. Design by Linn Zahl Fagervik.
